You have to sit down with your monsters and have an honest conversation.
Mental Monsters go by many names: depression, fear, worry, inferiority, and anxiety to name a few. For most of us, those monsters will never fully leave… BUT…
To grow, you have to face yourself. You have to have those honest conversations with the monsters and tell them this. “I didn’t ask for you, and maybe you’re here to stay, maybe you’re a part of me in some way forever, BUT, from here forth, you no longer have a voice. You no longer get to control my actions; you no longer possess the power you’ve had to keep me below my potential. I’m putting you on mute. You’ll now take a backseat so that I can reach my potential and shine like I was meant to.”
Do this as often as need be until you silence the monsters.
